HAPPY ST. PATTY’S DAY!!!
May your day be filled with loves of love, green colors, and festivities!
Today has been a fantastic day with the hubby, but I will back track real quick to last nights dinner.
We went to Blue Smoke, a southern jazz restaurant the hubby has been wanting to go to.
Dinner

I started my dinner off with a mojito!

It was definitely good, but still can’t find one that beats my $6 lantern skinny mojito!
The hubby and I shared an appetizer…
Shrimp Dogs

The hubby LOVED them, me…ehhhh…to much grease.
For dinner I ordered the veggie burger with a side salad

I loved the salad dressing, it was a light vinaigrette.
Super Fresh!
And the husband had these monstrous things…

Someone is in Rib heaven haha
The night ended by sharing their well-known banana cream pie!

Two Thumbs up!
This was a lot of food so I made sure to pace myself and only finish half of my meal and a few bites of the app/dessert.
Everything in moderation!
Now, back to today and our St. Patty’s Festivities!
We started off in the morning attending the NYC Parade…

After the parade the hubby and I made our way to the West Village…
And guess who I ran into?!?! BETHENNY FRANKEL!
No joke, I literally accidentally bumped into her when sitting down at a restaurant that we were all at. She was with her family so I didn’t want to bother her with my excitement, but so cool huh?! LOVE HER
We bumped into her here…

For lunch we ordered…
Green Mimosa for her.
Beer for him.

Crab Cakes Eggs Benedict for her.

Steak Burger for him.

And ending the day sharing a Vegan Butter-Finger Shake from Terri’s.

As you can see, today was filled with lots of fun and TREATS. But hey, it’s a holiday right?!?! I made sure to practice portion control and share with the hubby so I didn’t OVER indulge in all the yummy treats. We also walked ALL day long. 10AM-5PM.
Today was super fun and solidified why I love NYC.
I hope you had a great day and celebrated with lots of festivities!
XOXO
